Tree Houses: 8 Whimsical Tree Houses

Tree Houses: 8 Whimsical Tree Houses

Amazing and whimsical tree houses, no not tree forts like we built when we were kids or built for our own kids, not those, these are real tree houses to live in.  Take a walk on the nature side with me to look at unusual tree houses.  Sometimes at the cost of housing I think about pitching a tent somewhere, but building and living in a tree house seems a much better idea.  People live in all those Tiny Houses, so why not tree houses too.

The first amazing tree house below shows it all lit up at night with electricity, whimsical railings leading to the entrance, and great views into the forest high above like a lookout post.  This post is a fun look at tree houses that may conjure up memories from our childhood playtime or dreams of Neverland.  Let’s skip on through and see 8 whimsical  tree houses.

Second star to the right and straight on till morning.  Tree houses never looked so good as this.

Would you, could you on the lake?  I could, I like tree houses on a lake.

This one scares the daylights outta me. I don’t like heights.  When as a family we were up in the Statue of Liberty and everyone was enjoying the view, I enjoyed it plastered against the wall.  I can’t look over or I get that straight up into the head, back down to the gut dizziness kind of high that starts my heart pumping danger, danger.

Al right!  This is the most real looking house that is a tree house, it is a mini-me of a house.  I hope there is a back pathway that leads up as opposed to climbing a ladder although it’s not that high.

Tree house condos buried deep in the forest come to mind.  This must be a real whimsical place with that sign and what looks like to me to be large red mushrooms.  Oddly enough, none of the pictures of tree houses on Pinterest has any information as to where they come from.

Robin Hood and his merry men would be happy here.

Since I am crazy for cottages, this tree house cottage with stained glass shaped windows that have criss-crosses is a perfect tree house for me.  I’ll move right in.  What would your address be if you lived in a tree house?  Probably no address at all, it could just be your tree houses name like Dragon Fly House.

Peter Pan and the Lost Boys treehouse makes me think of Neverland and I’ll never grow up.  The perfect ending for this look at whimsical tree houses.

When the dentist tells me to go to my “happy place”, I got to a tree house. These are truly magical

  2. Very cute! I’m just like you Sue – if I get too high I start to get dizzy and disoriented. I love the IDEA of a tree house, but not too high.
